I am a Christian, and my faith is central to how I see the world. It’s a perspective I strive to live out daily, shaping my understanding of everything around me.
I am a proud Nigerian by birth and a citizen of the world by passion. My love for travel and a deep curiosity about different cultures have led me to explore many corners of the globe, often through extensive road trips. I have a genuine admiration for our planet’s natural beauty and diversity. I am an unyielding optimist, a firm believer in the resilience of humanity and our capacity to overcome challenges, including global climate change.
Professional Life
As a senior project professional with three decades of experience, I’ve had the privilege of conceiving, executing, and delivering oil and gas projects across North America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. My world-class education spans institutions in Africa, Australia, and the United States, and I’ve gained practical experience from working with a top multinational energy company for more than 20 years.
I am also passionate about Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance. I hold a master’s degree and a graduate certificate in the field and actively contribute to its advancement through consultancy and research. Currently, I’m conducting PhD research on an Ontological Forensic Framework for Autonomous Vehicles and lecture master’s students in Information Security Management and Enterprise Network Security.
Writing
I am a writer and a proud winner of the 2025 Caruso writer-in-residence at the Katherine Susan Pritchard. My published works include the two-part series Australia from an African Eyes, which features Crossing Borders – An African Crossing of The Great Australian Deserts and Adventure Beckons. I have also written a play, The Unseen Hand – A Play in Four Acts, and a historical fiction novel, Agbekoya Uprising.
Personal Life
My life is centered around love, family, and living each day to the fullest. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Saf, for nearly three decades, and together we have raised two incredible children who are now adults.
